memorial day weekend couldn't arrive at a better time.

work is getting severely painful and we're in the throes of a full-on funk/depression at home.
not working is taking its toll on my better half.

we need to get out. short term.
we need to get back to new york. long term.

these next four weeks until my maternity leave seem to stretch out in front of me endlessly.

i hope we make it with at least part of sanity intact.
