I had one on the subway about fifteen minutes ago. A particularly dishevelled but adorable man gets on and sits across from me. We both have headphones on and I'm bopping my head to some Built to Spill, smiling to myself. I guess this gets him going because he's bopping now too. All the while we're trying not to look at each other. Then it's my stop. I get up and as I exit, he flashes me one of the most genuinely sincere, awesome smiles a stranger has ever smiled to me. I should post a Craigslist Missed Connection. People, he was cuuuuuuute. Anyway. It is pay day. I'm gonna go buy some more toilet lid art making supplies after work. Rock and roll. |
