it's an early sendoff dinner tonight for the guest of honor, the inimitable Ms. Ruby de la Foxxx and boy howdy there isn't enough liquid comfort in the city, I tell you.

Going to get a few trial hairdo's done at a very rock-and-roll salon in an hour and I don't even care what, but I hope I at least like one of them so I can just book the bitch and get this one task crossed off the eternal wedding to-do list.

in the "who's got it worse" department, my sweetheart is off to get a root canal. i'm crossing my fingers they dope him up nice and proper and send him on his way with sacks of painkillers.
