rock and roll karaoke, megacool thrift stores up the wazoo, fantastic friends and parties, free cigarettes getting handed out in bars, punk rock night at Delilah's, seeing two really great garage bands, Lucy's the country western bar, dancing at the Hideout, photobooth pictures, drinking Bloody Marys and going to the Art Institute with Ladypete, meeting Gretl and Ozwald, and there must be more but my brain is so fried.... Suffice it to say, I liked Chicago a LOT better the second time around, ten years later.
