Saw a live taping of "Last Call with Carson Daly" of all things yesterday evening. Basically, we were there to see the Walkmen play live. And they were worth the two hours of waiting around and getting passed from line to line.

Later, we got serenaded by the Italian Elvis on accordion while eating lasagna and drinking house wine by the bottle for Carla's birthday.

It was something else.
