ryan surprised me with a gift certificate for a massage & facial at a spa and I went and I feel like a new person.
a shiny happy new person with the taut, smooth face of a 20 year old.

in similarly cathartic news, i have decided to quit drinking after thanksgiving.

it's time.

obviously, i will remain European through and through and that means the occasional glass of wine in the evening.

but liquor is out. i don't feel young anymore when i drink. and i think that was the whole point anyway.

off to rub my face with more creams and ointments.
