last night I watched Cyndi Lauper in concert on some VH1 channel and it may have been the half bottle of wine I inhaled but damn, she moved me. I cried, I sang along, I made ryan watch with me, it was incredible.
She’s still got it, you know? And that’s saying something about someone who can sound AMAZING belting out a song WHILE SUPINE ON THE FLOOR

She was writhing around, dancing, flailing, rocking out and she’s what? 500? Awesome, pure and simple.

Plus, her songs have withstood the test of time.
She played All Through the Night on a lap steel and it sounded brand new. She’s the fuckin tits. I worship her.
